I'm pregnant. Can I use the products? +
For pregnant women: You can safely use all products except Superfood multipurpose vitamin face gel when you are pregnant. The reason is that Superfood contains a vitamin A (Retinyl Palmitate). Pregnant women should limit their intake of vitamin A during pregnancy because high intake of vitamin A is associated with an increased risk of birth defects. The Norwegian Food Safety Authority therefore recommends that pregnant women avoid skin care products that contain vitamin A. If you are pregnant and have already used Superfood, you do not need to worry. The recommendation is based on the principle that a precaution is always best to be on the safe side. For breastfeeding mothers: You can safely use all products, including Superfood multipurpose vitamin face gel.

How far does a tube go? +
Typically, a 50 ml tube of cream will last 2-5 months. It is difficult to say exactly how much product you should use each time, as it depends on your starting point. For most people, a small pea-sized amount of product is enough, so the products usually last a long time. How much product your skin needs depends on both your skin type and the time of year. Dry and mature skin needs more product than young and oily skin. All skin types need more product in the winter when it's cold outside. You also need to use more day cream with UV protection if you spend a long time in the sun, to avoid damage from UV rays.
I have had a skin reaction to a product +
When the skin reacts when getting used to a new skincare routine, it can be due to conditions of the skin or the active ingredients in the product. The skin is a living organ that takes about 6 weeks to adapt to a new skin care routine. It is not unusual to experience dandruff/itching/bumps or similar for a short period of time when the skin is introduced to new products and is getting used to a new skin care routine. The discomfort should be mild, temporary and disappear quickly. Here's how to deal with habituation: Take a short break from the product until your skin is back to normal. Then start with a gradual introduction. Try using the product every other day for a short period, then increase to using the product once a day. Gradual introduction is especially a good idea if you have sensitive skin.

When can I expect to see an effect? +
The skin is a living organ that takes approximately 6 weeks to adapt to a new skincare routine, so you should always use a new range/product for a minimum of 6 weeks. The clinical studies conducted on our products have been over 8 weeks to show the long-term effects. How quickly or how much effect is experienced is very individual, and depends on your starting point. Hydration level, hormonal status, age, season, local factors of the skin, which products have been used before, exposure to sun, wind and weather are some of the factors that have an impact on how much effect is achieved. That is, some will experience a lot of improvement and others less. We do not guarantee that everyone will achieve the desired effect.

Because the starting point and the results vary from person to person, all of our products have been investigated in clinical studies. Therefore, we can say something about the effect on a more general basis. In the long-term studies, the products have been used as the only skin care product daily for 8 weeks. When assessing the effect on wrinkle length and depth, the results have been obtained by comparing 3D scanning images before and after the test period. In the clinical studies that evaluate the effect on skin tightness and elasticity, a device, Cutometer, has been used, which measures the skin's elastic properties. Are the products clean? +
We often get asked if we have pure products. Pure products are not a certification or classification, such as organic or vegan. We therefore try to avoid using this term. All our products are vegan and free of parabens and microplastics. Wash is also free of perfume. Some ingredients are organic. Which ones are stated on the packaging.
Where are the products manufactured? +
Our products are manufactured in Denmark. All products meet all requirements and standards in Norway, Denmark and the EU.
My product smells "medicinal" +
The products have many active ingredients. Some ingredients have a slightly medical / clinical scent. The products are not fragrance-free. We have chosen not to add strong perfumes to drown out the slightly 'medical' scent that the ingredients have.
Has my order been received? +
When we receive your order, an order confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided when ordering. Sometimes the order confirmation is caught in the spam filter. It may therefore be a good idea to look for the email in the spam filter and mark it as not spam. Then you will also, if you have checked it, receive newsletters, offers, etc. that we send out from time to time. When the item is packed in stock and ready to be shipped to you, we will send you another email notifying you that the items are on their way. You can also log in to your account to view your order and its status there.
Shipment +
We ship with Posten / Bring, Porter Buddy, Helt hjem, Intsabox or Postnord. You choose the shipping method at checkout. Orders are packed and shipped Monday through Friday. Shipping time for regular orders is 2-5 business days depending on where in the country you live. Sample orders: We are experiencing a very high demand for samples and therefore there may be a slight delay in packing and shipping the samples. The samples are sent by Posten/Bring with delivery to your mailbox. The shipment usually takes about 14 days. If you still have not received the samples 14 days after placing your order, we would be very happy to hear from you again.
When will the money be deducted from my card? +
We will deduct the money for your order when it is sent for packing at our warehouse and shipped to you.
Right of withdrawal and return +
You can use the statutory right of withdrawal to return unopened products with intact packaging and seal up to 14 days after receiving the goods. To use the right of withdrawal, you must notify us of this by emailing kundeservice@ankerstjerne.no within 14 days after receiving the goods. Provide the order number and email that was used when ordering. It is only possible to return unopened products in original, undamaged packaging. The seal must NOT be broken. Cosmetics are considered hygiene products, ref. the Norwegian Cancellation Act §22 g), and cannot be returned if the seal has been broken. You must pay return shipping of 79kr, which will be deducted from the amount refunded. Once the goods have been received, we will process the return. It will take up to 14 days for you to see the money in your account.

We strive to deliver first-class products and customer service. If you still have a complaint that you would like to raise with us, we would be very happy to hear from you. Send an email to customer service at hei@ankerstjerne.no and describe the problem. Our products have no treatment guarantee. This means we do not offer returns if you have not achieved the desired effect after 6-8 weeks.
