Chapter 01
Why does skin age?
From your mid-20s onward, your skin quietly begins to change. Collagen production - the protein that gives
skin its structure - declines by around 1% every year.
Cell renewal slows. The fibre network of collagen and elastin loses tension. Over time, this shows up as the
visible signs of ageing: fine lines, less firmness, a slower recovery from stress and sun.
This isn't a marketing claim. It's basic dermal biology.
There are two levers you can actually pull:
- Support the skin from the outside (topical actives, sun protection, moisture)
- Support the skin from the inside (nutrition, ingested collagen peptides, essential co-factors)
Dr.Stine's Superfood range covers lever one. Dr.Stine Collagen with Sea Buckthorn is our answer to lever two - beauty from within, formulated the way the clinical studies actually did it.
