You are born with a sensitive skin type, regardless of whether you have an oily or normal skin type. The skin is red and irritated, and the skin's small blood vessels, the capillaries, are visible through the skin. The signs are most pronounced in the cheeks and around the folds of the nose.
There are both sensitive skin types and sensitized skin. All skin types become sensitized, as this is a condition you can develop, but not a skin type you are born with. If the signs of sensitive skin are not constantly present, but instead come and go at different times of the year and in different situations, you probably have sensitized skin.
Both sensitive and sensitized skin have the same signs and symptoms. The skin reacts quickly to external influences such as heat, cold, UV rays, dry air and ingredients in skin care products. Stress, hormone fluctuations, coffee, nicotine and alcohol can also typically cause redness in the skin and worsen the symptoms.
Dry skin is more often sensitized. Eczema and Rosacea are skin conditions that typically occur together with sensitive skin.
With a sensitive skin type, the symptoms are present almost all the time, while they come and go to a greater extent with sensitized skin.
The skin's resilience is affected by several factors and the skin's needs change as a result of changing seasons, temperature and humidity. In general, sensitive skin worsens in winter because the skin becomes drier.
Some people treat themselves to sensitive skin by using strong products and cleansers on the skin that damage the skin's barrier and dry out the skin. The defective skin barrier is unable to retain moisture, and the skin therefore becomes dehydrated, sore, red and irritated.

WASH the day off is gentle on the skin while providing an effective cleanse, without being drying. WASH has been developed for sensitive skin and contains no perfume.

Both of our two day creams are suitable for you with sensitive skin. The biggest difference between ANTI-POLLUTION daycream and URBAN PROTECTION daycream is that ANTI-POLLUTION daycream is without sun factor, while URBAN-PROTECTION daycream contains high and broad-spectrum UV protection.
ANTI-POLLUTION day cream is light in consistency and very moisturizing. Suitable especially for those who predominantly have areas of oily and normal skin on the face, as well as for skin with irritation conditions with dandruff or redness and pimples. Anti-Pollution daycream is without sun factor and in the warm months can also be used as a light night cream for oily/combination skin.
URBAN PROTECTION daycream is medium-rich in consistency and has high and broad-spectrum UV protection with sun factor 30 and UVA protection. This is an anti-aging cream that is particularly suitable for those with sensitive skin. Urban Protection daycream is also very suitable for mature skin.
ANTI-AGE night cream rich: In winter, when it's cold outside, we recommend our richest product ANTI-AGE night cream rich (insert link to the product) as a day cream. A sensitive skin is aggravated by cold and dry humidity. ANTI-AGE night cream rich is very suitable as a day cream in the cold months. With its unique fatty acid combination, the skin's barrier and the skin's natural resistance are strengthened. The skin is kept moist, soft and supple.
